Ruxpin
- 8.22.03
So
that's the end of Ruxpin. Died before it could even start walking.
I'm not one to lament the death of incomplete projects. They are
like sick pets, better just to take them out back and shoot them.
There is a little graveyard of lizards and snakes under the tree
in my backyard. The hamsters I just flushed.
The
comics, they get death and destruction. And if they survive they
might evolve a little, but if not, the just get hurriedly drawn
tomb stones. Actually I spent thirty minutes on that one.
Reasons?
I didn't have fun with it anymore. Neat idea, but stupid idea.
And I'd just end up getting myself sued. I took this character
from another story and started to mess with it. And then I wanted
to make something grand out of it, but suddenly I realized that
the plot could be nothing other then cliched and meaningless.
I'd find an accent mark for cliche, but fuck that that shit.
Rest
in peace.
I wrapped his corpse in the non-existent plot.
I'll visit his grave like I update this site.
Irregularly.
Near
the stone I lay
too-flat cover art.
His legacy need not be written.
For it is lack of practice and self-pity.
Rest
in peace, Ruxpin.
